As a parent my mission is to build a strong sense of attachment with my children, procure memorable experiences for them and to nurture them in a loving home.
My goal is to offer all these attributes to the families who come into my care.
Gentle, attentive caring is what your infant can expect during their day at our home. One on one attention to their physical needs, and mindfulness of their emerging motor skills, will encourage infants' through their growth milestones. Parents can rest assured that baby will spend their day presented with opportunities to practice their newly found skills.
Your toddler will be stimulated and entertained by the variety of activities that are offered to them. They will have opportunity to learn through play and exploration, as a means of developing their emerging physical, cognitive, emotional, and social awareness. Their days will include just enough structure to make them feel comfortable in their routine, with plenty of free play for their imaginations to grow.
A preschool curriculum built with careful observation, creativity, and the flexibility to fit into the rhythm of your child’s day, will help build their confidence in the skills needed for their eventual transition to the classroom.
The fee of $60 a day will include care, which is available anytime from 8am-6pm M-F, and will include breakfast, snacks, and lunch. I can offer a flexible schedule which will allow you to choose between one, two, three, and five day weeks.
If you just need some time for yourself on a regular basis, a part time schedule might be a benefit to you. Your child can attend block care from 9am-12pm or 3pm-6pm, to participate in the activities and fun. The fee for part time is $30 a block.
Full day care or block care agreements are made in documentation, in advance. Changes to your schedule will require a two week notice.
The most valuable qualification as a childcare provide is that I am a mother to two wonderful girls! My confidence as a caregiver was built over years of childrearing, culminating in an appreciation for children’s autonomy and individuality. My theoretical background was established as I completed my B.A. in Biological Anthropology with a focus on Human Lifespan Development and concentration on Public Health, from Temple University. This diversity of life experience permits me to bring a qualitative and quantitative perspective to an in-home care setting that is warm and welcoming, as influenced by my own personal style.
